How to Check SSP Scholarship Status (Post-Matric)

Students often become anxious when they are unsure about their scholarship status. Is there any document deficiency, or has the assistance amount been transferred to the bank account? These are common questions that arise in every applicant’s mind.

Sometimes, students are not aware of the final stage of the process. They do not know whether the college or nodal officer has verified the application or if the verification is still pending.

Visit the official SSP scholarship website https://ssp.postmatric.karnataka.gov.in/. Log in with your credentials and click on the Post-Matric Scholarship option.

Enter your student login password and captcha. After filling in the information, click on Login. It will show you a pop-up message to start the scholarship portal.

After logging in, click on Student Status Report. Another page will appear. Enter the Status ID and financial year, and click on Search.

After searching, the following information will be displayed:

  • Student details
  • School / College name
  • District and Taluk
  • Income status
  • Application status (Submitted / Verified / Approved / Rejected)
  • Sanctioned amount
  • DBT payment status
  • Whether the amount has been credited to the bank account or not

It is necessary to understand every status. Without understanding it, students face difficulties.

Submitted:
It means you have successfully submitted the form, and with this verification, the process has started.

Institution Verification Pending:
At this stage, your application is under review. The college has not pushed it forward yet. The students need to contact the Admission Section.

Department Verification Pending
At this stage, the government department is reviewing your application. It may take some time as the department is processing many applications.

Approved
The concerned department has completed the verification and is ready to release the payment.

Rejected
It clearly explains the reason for rejection. Your bank account might not be linked with Aadhaar, your income may be low, or your documents may have been uploaded incorrectly.

If the scholarship authority has not credited the amount?
At this stage, some students make the wrong decision. You should wait for 15 days. The government releases payments in instalments.

Sometimes the bank stops the payment. Your Aadhaar is not linked with your bank account. The bank may have marked your account as inactive, or you may not have updated your KYC.
